It is with great sadness that I post this boat for sale. She’s been an amazing boat for the past 10 years and we’ve had many great adventures and races. She comes with a little bit of a pedigree having sailed me single handed Round Britain back in 2008. Sadly forthcoming children forces the sale. She’s a Hunter Europa, 19 foot, the hull of a squib and an improvement in accommodation on the Hunter 19. She was designed to race across the Channel. My round Britain achievement is shadowed by others who have taken this boats across the Atlantic! At 19 feet it's an extremely cost efficient boat, moorings in Cowes start at £480, new running rigging is less than £100 and a full coat of paint is under £50. She is very sea worthy, I have sailed her in 40 knots in the Irish Sea, and fast, she manage 10 knots average with a high of 18 and sustained surfs of 15! The hull is sound, but could do with a lick of paint on top. The interior comes with full cushions and a curtain to split the two sections of the cabin. It is sparce, but a fresh canvas to be customised as you wish. Her rigging is not the standard Hunter Europa rigging. It's a fractional rig and was developed by a champion racer optimised for IRC racing. The sails are in great condition. She comes with a racing main and Jib as well as 3 Symetric Spinnakers. The sails are good for cruising as well, you just get there a bit quicker! In terms of engines: I have a recently serviced Tohatsu 2.5 hp and an old Honda 5hp, which I haven't tested or used for a number of years. A trailer is also available. She is currently in Cowes and can be viewed there, but I can deliver her to any harbour within 20 miles of the Solent.

There are two double cabins aft with a second heads and a comfortable saloon with lots of light and seating for eight at a U-shaped dinette. Large sociable cockpit with wheel steering. Fully equipped galley to starboard, Navigation station to port. Bright, cherry stained finish to woodwork and blue upholstery with cream curtains throughout. Deck/cockpit; Wheel steering with instrument panel on pedestal l(including Garmin plotter). Ample cockpit seating, cockpit table, full bimini and Spayhood. All lines led back to cockpit for safe handling at sea. Deck shower. Foresail furling (2011). F battened mainsail (2014) with lazy jacks and zippered boom bag. Saloon; stereo radio/CD player, int and ext speakers.Very efficient seawater cooled fridge operating on 220 volts (either shore power or inverter). Equipment; Navigation, Plastimo Olympic 135 helmsman's compass Raymarine log and depth, Raymarine 6000+ autopilot. Tac tik wind speed/direction. DSC VHF. Clock and barometer. 8 pax transocean liferaft, dinghy & outboard. Charts for Greek waters and Greek waters pilot. Fusion has been a very successful charter boat out of Kos for the last three years and has been well maintained by her English owner. The trampoline is 1 year old, as well as the new Elliot/Pattison square-top mylar mainsail #1378 that only has 10 weekends uses on it. The jib is in good conditions with a furler system and custom jib downhaul system adjustable from the deck. Da-kine straps installed.
