Outremer 40/43 performance cruiser CATAMARAN for sale Built in 1991, following very strict specifications, this catamaran is an extremely strong and reliable ocean passage-maker. Has the reputation of being Seaworthy with more than 200 units constructed by the same shipyard since 1984. Sisterships have been taken to high latitudes not often visited by cruising catamarans. Fast and rewarding to sail in all conditions, possess legendary light wind speed and can be pushed like few other yachts in gale force. Originally conceived as performance cruisers these boats are known world-wide as redoubtable offshore racers and winners. Retractable, high aspect ratio twin daggerboards assure not only exceptionel pointing ability when sailing upwind, but also reduced wetted surface at high speeds and shallower draft which permits access to even the smallest anchorages. Rudders and propulsion are also retractable making the beaching of the boat easy and safe. Simple, without complicated systems, which enables easy maintenance, all over the world, at very little cost. She had made 4 Atlantic crossings, and just crossed the Pacific. This craft is equipped to satisfy all your needs in safety and comfort during long-distance offshore cruising: radar, AIS, EPIRB, autopilot, 800W solar panels, wind generator, 2000W 220V AC inverter, fridge, kitchen on the bridge deck, watermaker, hot water showers, etc. Major upgrades from 2010: new standing rigging, some new sails, new plexis and hatches, new paint inside/outside, new trampoline nets, new battery bunk. Inbord diesel engine from 2007 (used only 1000h). The boat is currently in Sydney but can be delivered to NZ upon agreement! More pictures and inventory on request.

our MG Spring 25, Trivet, is reluctantly up for sale due to an imminent arrival which means one well love an cared for baby gets replaced by one that doesn't float and will apparently spew everywhere. anyway, Trivet has had a lot of work done it since we got it so if your looking for peace of mind, reliable, worry free sailing and ownership then rest assured I have spent a small fortune and plenty of time working on this boat to deliver exactly that- in taking on trivet you will benefit from this work. bottom stripped to the glass, dried, zinc coated the keel, 2 part epoxy primed the hull (2 coats!) then all the other layers, then spent another week stripping the interior, re varnishing it all, servicing the engine, replacing the windows and wash board, re doing the stripes, waxing and polishing, changing all lights to LED lights, fitting new depth sounder, log, and GPS repeater, plus new a chart plotter and two handheld icom VHFs. fair play its had the works, comes with ten sails and a twin axle trailer for storage or transport. it's a lot of boat, a lot of reassurance, a lot of enjoyable sailing at and for very little cost indeed. the spring is big enough to entertain and accommodate and small enough to sail alone and get you out of trouble, a well as keeping costs low! it's a great boat, check out the pictures or contact me for more information- email@example.com
