2008 Solmar Lake Ontario 300

300 NM offshore circumnavigation of Lake Ontario. Double Handed, Multihill and fully crewed Divisions, as well as fleet racing available. Race starts and ends at Port Credit Yacht Club, Mississauga ON 300 Kilometer circumnavigation of western end of Lake Ontario is offered as part of this event for WhiteSail only-double handed and fully crewed yachts. Regatta Notes: Solmar Lake Ontario 300 is the longest fresh water race in the world and the only circumnavigation of a great lake. Considered the most challenging race on the lakes it has a great environment for any yacht over 24' Marks are as follows: PCYC, Gilbraltor Bouy (Toronto), Whitby Yacht Club, Main Duck Islands, Ford Shoal (Oswego NY), Niagara Mark ( Youngstown, NY) Oakville Harbour, Finish at PCYC.
