In view of the damage inflicted to the Volvo fleet in leg one, will the teams be backing off in the deslotae Southern Ocean?

Foxall is the second Brasil One team member to join Ericsson, Altadill was also with Brasil during training and like Foxall got injured nd then joined Ericsson.
Pirates have given details of there keel modifications to all of the Farr boats.
You don't see this happening in the AC?
Any comments on this?

I don't really look at it as "backing off" if you reduce sail to "slow" the boat to a speed at which it doesn't break apart. I expect that there will be some gains made by teams that take a more cautious approach to their racing strategy than shown on the first night out...
