What is the VOR without the challenge of the Southern Ocean legs- a pale imitation.Go anywhere else on the planet BUT please don't let commercial issues dilute this great challenge!!!!! Below latitude 40 is for a very few- don't stop this challenge.

are they really talking about not having a southern ocean leg?

I have heard from a blue chip source that the VOR 2008-2009 will be going through the Southern Ocean. Probably Australia-South America.
