This year at the boat show we are promoting environemtally friendly cleaning of boats and we are runinng a childrens activity called 'As Clean as a Whistle'. We are looking for any old parts of boats whether it is Chrome, steel, copper,aluminium, fibreglass, wood - for example rowlocks, shackles etc etc - for the children to have a go at cleaning with some alternative products. In return for their elbow grease they get a Green Blue whistle - hence the title!
Please help us find some bits and bobs for our activity - whether you want to donate it or just lend us something to clean - all is welcome! (NB:- The item must not be too big (ie your actual boat!) as it needs to be easliy moved on and off the stand each day.)
