I am currently undergoing the Honours Project for the final year of the degree Marine Studies (Ocean Yachting) BSc at the University of Plymouth. The chosen question of reasearch “IS THE STANDARD 10 YEAR STANDING RIGGING REPLACEMENT ADVICE FROM INSURERS REASONABLE?”
The aim is to produce a more specific guidance to owners, riggers and insurers alike to allow for an improved understanding of the condition, life expectancy, and maintance of the rig.
