  I am currently taking sailing lessons and although very keen, I am a complete novice; however, my partner Mike, has years of experience; having been in the Merchant Navy for 8 years and winning competitions sailing as a teenager, oh , and of course, the long weekend fishing trips to the Channel Islands!
  
  We both run our own companies; I used to be an English teacher, but now run a wedding and events company and Mike is a Consultant Engineer. I am 43 and Mike is 45. Both of us are very friendly and love to socialise with others.
  
  We are looking to share yachting costs on long weekend trips, or occasional week long trips (anywhere in England or most of Europe); some trips could be longer, but would have to be planned in advance due to work commitments’.
