Rolex Swan Cup, DSK Pioneer Investments takes the lead

Porto Cervo – Rolex Swan Cup’s day two and DSK Pioneer Investments is the new leader of the Maxi class. After a really good start, Danilo Salsi’s Swan 90 took the lead of the fleet before the first mark and led the fleet around Spargi island followed by Fantasticaaaniene (Swan 100) and White Lie (Swan 90).
Driven by the northerly wind that reached 20 knots during the afternoon, DSK Pioneer Investments close the 35 miles coastal race in first position with big gap on the pursuers.
After the time correction, DSK Pioneer Investments won the race also under the IRC rating.
Thanks to today results, Andrea Casale’s crew move on first position, chased by Emma and White Lie.
For tomorrow the Notice of Race provides the long island race. The forecast announces strong westerly wind: ideal condition to sail to Lavezzi, through Bonifaco strait.
