Rolex Swan Cup, DSK Pioneer Investments extend its lead

Porto Cervo – After the long island race – 63 miles around Barattinelli, Lavezzi and Mortoriotto push by strong Mistral – DSK Pioneer Investments extend its lead in the Maxi class of the Rolex Swan Cup 2010. Danilo Salsi’s crew had a very powerfull comeback after a premature start and close the regatta taking line honours and the fifth place in the IRC overall standing. The race was won by Swan 82 Astro dell’Est, chased by Swan 80 Berenice.
After three races – the series will count on other two races – DSK Pioneer Investments leads the fleet with three points over Swan 90 Emma and Swan 112 Mystery.
Today the fleet enjoy a day of rest. The Rolex Swan Cup will go underway again tomorrow morning with another coastal race.
