Cayard Reports from Audi MedCup - Cagliari

September 22, 2010 16:54 0 comments

Not a good day on Artemis. We had a 5, 9, 8.

The wind was a Southeasterly sea breeze of 9-13 knots.

We made a nice move on the last run of the first race to go from 9th to 5th. Other than that, our day did not have any highlights.

We seemed to get the wind shifts wrong most of the time.

Matador is sailing very well and Quantum is gaining consistency after their opening race. There was a big crash on the first windward leg of the third race between AL4ONE and Bribon which took both boats out of the race.

Tomorrow is the Coastal Race which has a scoring factor of 1.5.
