Changes at Bang the corner
Started as a yahoo group with forty members over four years ago, Bang the corner now has an audience of about 25,000 sailors from every continent on the planet.
It is managed, written and read by people who sail. Most of the content is unique or written by people participating in events and that is the primary aim of the site. To promote yachting by accurate reporting from the events by the people at them.
We want you to have your say about the sailing that you do and to put you in contact with other sailing folk. In short to build a community where yachting information can be shared, to do this requires a little or a lot of input from you!
Basic membership and all of the news stories are free to access.
We have teamed up with Sailing Networks to make the site interactive, if you are a member, fill out the details about yourself in ‘My profile’ you will be able to match up with other sailor’s who use the site, for example find people who are attending the same events as you and find crew mates from past boats that you have been on. The more information you give the more you will get out of the site.
There are many more features than this for you to use….and with your help the site can become a great source of yachting information.
All you have to do is fill out as little or as much information as you like and begin using the new interactive site: www.bangthecorner.com
regards,
Coiler
