Located at the entrance of the Hamble River, at the heart of UK sailing with easy access to the Solent. It has two sites each with a clubhouse. The new and prestigious clubhouse has fabulous views of the water-borne activities and it is supported by a full social and educational programme.
The success of WSC is due to its balanced membership and activities, with members cruising and racing in boats from dinghies to the largest blue water yachts. If something smaller takes your fancy there is an active model yacht section with regular club and open racing.
Formed in 1957 on the site of the Warsash lobster ponds, hence the lobster on our burgee.
By 1980 the Club needed to expand and Shore House was purchased becoming our main clubhouse.
1994 saw the completion of a major rebuilding of Shore House. Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal graciously accepted our invitation to perform the opening ceremony, for the next stage of the development for Warsash Sailing Club.
With over 1500 members nearly all areas of marine expertise are represented within the Club which effectively means that help and advice is always readily available.
