The Yacht Club organizes several sailing fleets, Optomists, X, MC, C, E, Cougars and Hobie Cats each season, giving sailors ample opportunities to compete and test their skills. Scheduled races occur every weekend (Saturday at 10am and 1:30pm, Sunday 10am) from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Whatever your age 6 or 80 years young, sailing is great fun for all. If you have never been on a sailboat, or if you are a seasoned skipper or crew, the CLYC is for you! Our beginning sailors learn in the classroom and then under the direct supervision of our experienced sailors take to the water.
