Let's Sea, Tercaira island, Azores
The boat has 4 double cabins and 3 heads. You will have your own cabin but might be sharing the bathroom. Our sailboat is in pitch-perfect condition and we do our best to keep it that way! She is registered in Ocean class and is therefore equipped to the highest standard of safety! She is very welcoming, luminous and spacious. I have no doubt you will enjoy living on it :)
is looking for crew for Cruising, Mile building
when: Holidays (short-term)
3 March - 2 April
We are not looking for proper deckhands but just adventurous, dynamic and curious people who want to take part in a special journey, so you don’t need to have any experience. Everyone one contributes in his own way, bringing their knowledge and personality; The idea is a bit like “the more interest you put into this journey the more you will benefit from it”… all this on a very nice sailboat in a very interesting area! The Azores are incredible!
There are no obligations to participate in the boat handling but for those interested, we can work together on passage planning, theory, sail trimming, manoeuvres, Mob etc. I’m a RYA cruising instructor and I love to teach ans share!
We ask people to stay minimum 1 week but I think 2 is much better to have time to really discover the Azores. We as well ask for a small contribution towards the costs of the boat : 30 per day which covers accomodation, bed linen, marina fees, fuel, gas, dinghy+fuel, etc etc and the food expenses are share equally between the people on board. We try to keep this as reasonable as possible ans go as local as we can. Anyway food here is really not that expensive.
We will alternate with sailing, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking (maybe horse riding and canyoning?), etc We as well plan on renting a car from time to time and you will be welcome to join if you wish. During the trip we will need to collect pictures and videos (we have a small drone) so if you have experience in that field, that’s a plus! This is an exploring cruise, not a set itinerary so expect to be flexible. Let’s sail soon ;)
