is looking for crew for Cruising

when: Weekday, Weekend, Evening, Holidays (short-term)

from 1 Apr 2021

Odalisque is a well equipped and maintained 32ft sailing yacht based at Kip Marina on the Firth of Clyde, 30 miles from Glasgow. I'm retried, have over 40 years sailing experience and sail all year round. I sail mostly on my own but would like some good female company to join me on a regular basis. Also for individual trips. Expenses incurred on the trips would be shared, food, drink, overnight berthing/mooring fees, fuel etc. Interested, email me on

Moon Shadow

United Kingdom, Plymouth

is looking for crew for Cruising, Mile building, Ocean / long distance

when: Holidays (short-term), Long-term

from 1 Apr 2021

I'm looking for a female companion/crew to join me from this spring onwards, either short term or long term. The outline plan is to depart from Plymouth sometime in May and head for North West Spain where we'll spend a little time exploring the Rias before heading south to the Algarve for more exploring. From that point, we will probably head to Morocco and work our way south and eventually cross to the Canaries before heading south once more to Cape Verde and from there across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Ideally, you will join me in the UK but any of the ports of call will be ok. It is your responsibility to get yourself to the boat and to return home afterwards. This will be a "shared costs" deal but I don't intend to lead an extravagant lifestyle so costs will be fairly small and I may be willing to consider contribution "in kind" - cooking for instance. Let me know what skills you have and we may be able to come to an arrangement. I don't mind about your nationality, colour, religion or any of that stuff as long as you have common sense, a good sense of fun and a willingness to get stuck in - these are more important to me than huge experience - of course, some experience would be great so RYA comp crew (or equivalent experience) would be useful. If you contact me and expect a reply please tell me something about yourself and why you want to join me - one line emails will be ignored. Sorry to be blunt, but if you can't make the effort to write a decent email I doubt you'll put in the effort at sea! p.s. I'm not a Gerald Kingsland but could you be my Lucy Irving? (google them if you don't know what the hell I'm on about lol!)
